GREETINGS
In 1983, we commercialized Japan's first 100% reduced-pressure distilled potato shochu. This refreshing and easy-to-drink potato shochu, which overturned the conventional wisdom of potato shochu up until then, has been supported by many people and is popularly known as “Sawayaka,” an indispensable potato shochu for evening drinks and drinking parties.

SWAYAKA OBISUGI
”Sawayaka Obi-Sugi” was the first 100% low-pressure distilled sweet potato shochu in Japan. It is characterized by a refreshing taste that one would not expect from a sweet potato shochu, and its light flavor goes well with meals. It is easy to pair with delicate flavors such as sashimi, and is also an excellent match for strong-flavored dishes.
SAKURAIZUMI
Sakuraizumi, the oldest brand of Inoue Shuzo, was introduced in the book “Mastering Imojochu” as one of the “20 shochus you must drink if you see one”. It has the perfect balance of a refreshing taste and a mild, full flavor.

OOGANEMOTI MUGI
Because of its auspicious name and label, it has long been the sake of choice for celebrations, as a New Year's drink, and as a gift for loved ones.
KODOKUNA-TENSHI
This authentic shochu is made from dates (date), a burning fruit said to have been loved by Cleopatra, and brewed with wine yeast. By storing and aging the finished sake in oak barrels for more than three years, we have created a superb product with a luscious taste derived from dates, a noble aroma reminiscent of vanilla, and a deep, rich flavor.

By Toji and staff
While mechanization is advancing, we continue to challenge new things without going against the flow of the changing times while handing down the traditional sake brewing tradition.
