GREETINGS
Founded in 1928, we are a small shochu brewery located in Kushima City in the southernmost part of Miyazaki Prefecture. Supported by local farmers, microorganisms that live in the brewery, and drinkers, we have been making shochu here for over 90 years. The foundation of the Shoro Shuzo concept is all about “something you can drink all the time. Therefore, we dare not express any special strong aroma or other characteristics in the quality of our syochu liqueur, and we place great importance on creating a somewhat calm taste so that it can gently accompany the drinker.

SHOURO
A brand with a long history that has been brewed and consumed locally since its establishment. It has an aroma and flavor of steamed grains, and has an excellent balance of firm flavor and sweetness. The strength typical of Kagoshima derived from the ingredients and the gentle aroma typical of Miyazaki derived from the yeast give the sake a quality that is reminiscent of Kushima, the prefecture bordering Kagoshima where the brewery is located.
MOTOMI
It has a fresh aroma of aromatic herbs and gentle sweet potato flavor, with a light yet impactful sweetness and a slight bitterness. It is recommended to drink it chilled. On the rocks or with water or carbonated water, it has nuances like freshly ground pepper and a long sweet aftertaste.

SHOURO USUNIGORI
On the palate, the wine has a strong, concentrated umami flavor and a slight yet elegant plum-like acidity, and the aroma is marked by an oily quality reminiscent of almonds and apricot seeds.
SHOURO COLORFUL
This shochu has a distinctive aroma, blending new shochu made with Tamakane (white malted rice) from Kagoshima Prefecture and old shochu made with Miyazaki Beni (black malted rice) from Miyazaki Prefecture, which has a honey-like sweetness and strong richness, and stored for three years. At first, the aroma is of Earl Grey and white flowers, followed by tropical nuances such as mango. This brand has a perfect balance of viscous sweetness and tightening astringency.

How to drink recommended by the brewery, recommended snacks
