GREETINGS
The brewery is located in Hinokage-cho, northern Miyazaki Prefecture and was founded in 1831. The current president is the seventh generation of the brewery. It produces and sells authentic sweet potato shochu, barley shochu, buckwheat shochu, and glutinous rice shochu. The brewery has been in operation for over 130 years, and the pillars and walls of the brewery are stained black by the yeast and koji molds that live in the brewery. The water used for brewing and splitting is spring water from the mountain opposite the brewery. We are still making shochu by hand, from production to labeling, and will continue to make shochu that will please everyone.

NANADAIME HIMENO
HIMENO 7th Generation is an authentic barley shochu made with black malted rice and distilled under normal pressure, which has been passed down from generation to generation since 1831 (the second year of tempo). All black malted rice shochu is made using black malted rice for both the primary and secondary brews. In addition, we use a two-stage brewing process in which the secondary brewing is done in two separate batches, resulting in a mellower shochu. It is a masterpiece of the seventh generation head of the company.
GOHEI SIKUU
It is made from sweet potatoes (Aya Murasaki sweet potatoes) from southern Kyushu, brewed with white malted rice and produced without filtration. It is characterized by its fruity aroma, original sweet potato flavor and mild taste with a hint of sweetness. It won the highest gold medal at the TWSC (Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition) in 2024.

TENPO2NEN KAMETSUBO
Genuine Barley Shochu Tempo 2nen is a black malted rice, atmospheric pressure distilled sake made in the tradition of our company's founding in 1831. It was selected for the reception and souvenirs of the Miyazaki Summit held in 2000 in a blindfold test from about 280 sorts. The brewing water is spring water from the opposite shore. Not a drop of water is added to the sake to give it the rich, deep flavor that is unique to sake made without water.
GOHEI BLACKLABEL
Gohei Limited Edition Black Label Unfiltered Authentic Sweet Potato Shochu is an unfiltered authentic sweet potato shochu made with sweet potatoes (Koganesengan) as the raw material and a blend of black koji and white koji.
