GREETINGS
Kagura Shuzo was founded in 1946 in Takachiho-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture, the home of mythology. Since then, we have always strived to improve the quality of our products and to create products that are loved by our customers under our company motto, “Delivering superior shochu to our customers”. Since 2009, we have been operating a new factory in Nishi-City, Miyazaki Prefecture, where sweetpotato production is flourishing, and we have found the pellucid Saito Kiyomizu water in the Nishi-City Kiyomizu district, which is ideal for brewing. Kagura Shuzo will continue to make uncompromisingly sincere shochu based on the wealth of experience and technology we have cultivated over the years, aiming to produce “delicious” shochu that is “safe and reliable”.

HIMUKANO KUROUMA
Delicious! Easy to drink! I never get tired of drinking it!” We aimed to create such a barley shochu. By precisely blending the original shochu made by different distillation methods, we were able to bring out the right amount of barley aroma, soft sweetness, and umami flavor. The clear taste is recommended for those who are new to shochu and for those who do not like it.
TENSONKOURIN
Nurtured by the magnificent nature of Miyazaki, it has a deep and mellow flavor. Enjoy the deep, rich flavor with a retro feel of black malted rice, yet the aroma is elegant and gorgeous, and the finish is refreshing and clean.

SOBASHOCHU TENSYO
The home of myths and Kagura (Shinto music and dance). Takachiho-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture, is the birthplace of “Soba Shochu Tensho”. The starting point of this shochu is “commitment to raw materials,” “commitment to water,” and “commitment to craftsmanship. Even now, the traditional techniques have been passed down through the years. Please enjoy the deep and soft taste of buckwheat.
KUROUMA AMAGAKE
This barley shochu has a special flavor that blends the “elegant and full aroma” of domestic 2-row barley and the “subtle sweetness” brought out by the use of rice in the malted rice, and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. It can be enjoyed on the rocks, or with soda, which takes advantage of its sweetness. It is also a versatile barley shochu that can be served with hot water for a mellower taste.
